My Name is Marta and I am the mind and heart of Fine Italian Wedding.
I’m Italian (to be precise I was born and raised in Tuscany which is kind of a great privilege!) I love Italy and its traditions but California has a special place in my heart, I spent there almost three years of my life and it really became my home away from home.
I grew up in the hospitality world, I began working in hotels during Summer while still in highschool and I quickly mastered the ability of problem solving. Being able to anticipate problems and exceed the guest’s expectations has always been a great satisfaction for me.
The possibility to create a connection with people from all around the world, getting to show them the beauty of my country has always been the best part of the job and this is why I love working with foreign couples!
What brought me to this activity is the passion for everything that can be created from scratch, personalized and styled and my love for everything decorative! This is why I got a Bachelor Degree in Architecture in Milan, then I moved to Rome where I spent some times working at an event planning company with two strong and determined women that showed me what being a wedding planner really means (Attention please: sweat and patience are required!).
In 2010 I began organizing events on my own: my company was born as “Il Chiostro Ricevimenti”, with its base in Siena and operating in Tuscany. After several years continuing working in turism, an intercontinental move and a baby, I decided to change name and open up to the possibility of organizing event in a more wide selection of venues.
My major purpose is to see glowing smiles on my clients’ faces on their big day; and to achieve that result I offer my experience in designing and coordinating events with a special attention to decor, mise en place and set up arrangements! I like everything to be under control , so everything is planned and realized flawlessly in every detail.
My collaborators are all professionals and have been active in the wedding industry for several years.
